Meet Our Principal

Hello! My name is Alisa Johnson and I'm the Principal of Dassel-Cokato Middle School. I'm originally from Litchfield but have lived and taught in Dassel-Cokato for almost 31 years. Besides being principal, I taught 5th grade and was also the Dean of Students.
In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with family and friends. I have three children (two married with spouses) and one granddaughter and another grandchild arriving in September. A fun tidbit about me is that I used to be an L/DC Hockey cheerleader.
Each school year gives us an opportunity to grow and learn! I look forward to seeing you in the halls and classrooms at DCMS. Be GREAT! Be GRATEFUL! Please feel free to contact me at Alisa.Johnson[at]dc.k12.mn.

My name is Anna Reedy, and I am the Dean of Students at DCMS. I'm originally from Buffalo but worked as an English teacher for 5 years at DCMS early in my career. This is the start of my second year in the role at DCMS.My goal as the Dean of Students is to build positive relationships with students and families while ensuring each student feels a sense of belonging within our walls. I prioritize open communication, so watch for information from me regarding attendance, behaviors, school bus procedures, middle school activities, and academic eligibility. I also serve as DCMS Student Council advisor, and I’m so excited to celebrate all student successes throughout the school year. When I'm not at school or cheering on the Chargers, I enjoy reading, playing board games, and spending time with my immediate and extended family. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you ever have questions or concerns regarding the opportunities here at DCMS. Here's to a successful 2024-2025 school year. GO CHARGERS!Anna.Reedy{at}dc.k.12.mn.us
